Whether you want to get out of debt, or just become more frugal to save for the future, I hope today's video motivates you to seek a debt free life so you can have more FREEDOM! A BIG THANK YOU to Jennifer from The Daily Connoisseur for doing this collab. Be sure to check out her video (link in the description box). What extreme frugal habits do you have? I would love to hear from you! Love, Kim

Speaking about books I highly recommend This is me by Chrissy Metz its was so powerful and motivating for me. ?

Melinda Banning says:

I am already subscribed to both of you! I enjoy both of your videos.

Kerry Watson says:

If you are madly saving for something, or you have a big bill coming up, you can decide to buy NOTHING for a few weeks unless it is urgent. Not even a paper clip! I have done this for weeks at a time, also stretching out the grocery shopping by an extra two days each time. I can always use up what we have for the last few days, even if it means eating rice and stir fried veges for a few nights running(hey, millions of people in Asia have this every day!). It won't kill you, honest:)

janice pfister says:

I can't wait to see your video on freezing.? I also reuse Ziploc bags. ? You inspired me to cook instead of eating out, which is the beginning of my journey to getting debt free. I'm addicted to skin care and makeup, so it will be a day-to-day struggle for me, but I'm working on it.

Inspired by Nikki says:

Hello Kim! I’m so glad you did a collab with Jennifer! I look forward to Thursday’s video of her interview with you! Your tips are very helpful and I love the idea of negotiating your bill! Thank you for this video! ?Nikki

La Dolce Vita Culinary wilson says:

These are tips my mom or any housewife of the post war generation would have done! It is good to see us going back to this intelligent frugality. And good for the planet–these are very green tips! While I won't go into a the ways I save money, and believe me I could do so much more, one thing I have cut out is Starbucks coffee. So may calories in the fancy coffee and so $$$. Also I personally don't shop in bulk because I found I was buying things I didn't need, getting carried away by the good deals… So you have to be thoughtful when buying in bulk, as I am sure you are. Love this video and Jennifer's as well!

Lara G says:

I’ve watched many of your videos and finally subscribed today. Thank you for those great tips – some I already do but it’s good to be reminded. We can always learn from others. So many money-saving tips are also good for the environment (eg library books, freezing leftovers, public transport, etc). All the best from Australia (I’m always fascinated how people from other countries do their everyday stuff) xx

Caroline Coffey says:

Hi Kim thanks for sharing your tips I’ve stopped eating out as much, cooking from scratch I also save my jars too, I’ve been making my own soups etc too I’m almost debt free ! Probably only owe less than £1000 so almost there! It’s taken years to get the right mindset Thanks for continuing to inspire me xx

Paula Johnson says:

Hello! Jennifer sent me over. I loved so many of your tips: freezing things~how often I throw away most of the cilantro. I am going to be calling my internet provider and cell phone carrier~great tip. Thank you so much!

Victoria Del Bando says:

We eat at home a lot more! If our friends want to go out to eat we will once in a while do a happy hour or just not go! We avoid social gatherings that would cost us money. Concerts etc. even birthday parties. We just can’t afford it at times canceled an event recently! We shop at thrift stores for clothes don’t go to malls. If we need something we make sure we really need it before buying. I’m big on adding water to dish soap shampoo and conditioner so it lasts longer.

doubleu1017 says:

I love my local library! Hoopla is the best!

Susan Velez says:

Lol we have both discussed before how I wash my my zip lock bags as well, and make my own stock. I'm so excited to tell you that the experts start working Wednesday. I just received a letter from my internet company for being a loyal customer I will only be paying 72.00 a month. I always call once a year I had disconnected cable and phone and Internet alone was 69.99. Now they are giving me the works for 72 a month! Crazy but true…. YAYYY XOXOO

momof2 says:

Who cares if its unconventional! Being 100% debt free (like I am) is GREAT !!!!
