I can't believe Dave didn't mute this a lot sooner.
I can't believe Dave didn't mute this a lot sooner.
Is auto pay ok to pay the minimum on your credit card? They seem to be going paperless.
For someone who has used both Every Dollar and YNAB, I definitely hands down have to say YNAB is far superior than Every Dollar. With YNAB, I get to budget money that I actually have, not guesstimate how much money I will have for the month!
MAKES 78k a year ans owes 70k in credit cards smh
I have 70k in btc…..
This video lost me when he was trying to steer her to use Every Dollar instead of YNAB. A budgeting app is a budgeting app. She just started using it and tracking her spending, that's the important part. You don't take someone out of that ecosystem to force her to use your product instead. That's just sleezy sales and could set her back from progress if she doesn't click with it.
Sell some of the stuff you bought with credit cards and pay it on your credit cards
“My friend advised me to stop paying credit cards altogether”…. time to change friends
YNAB is the bomb, go with what works for you
YNAB is better than every dollar tho lol
Dave is so funny.
I need to get financial advise. I owe $2,240 in card debt.??. It's scary hearing these stories.
YNAB is king
My wife has her credit card with a $10,000.00 limit. He balance is $8,500.00. It makes me cringe. Yesterday I said I was going to cancel my one and only credit card that always has a zero balance each month. She went into panic mode saying don't do that. We may need it for an emergency……….Hum. I have a emergency fund for emergencies. She doesn't. Credit cards are a liability.
I'll be Carrie's cloths coset is full of nice shoes. There is no such thing as 0% financing.
I want to wake up one morning and find out that my account is $1,578,889.00. I know its possible.
She should just file bankruptcy and be done with it. Her credit is already hammered. Paying off the cards with settlement just keeps the bad credit going. If she files bankruptcy now she can have a 700 credit score in under a year if she plays her cards right.
Here's an idea: pay what you owe.
Honestly, no issue racking up consumer spending at wherever these bills are but doesn't want to pay.
??????
She made mistakes but she is killing it now. Great job and good for her!
I don’t really get why being expected to pay ALL you owe is seen as them “abusing” her… If she spent $8000 (including interest) and only has to pay back $2000? Well someone has to swallow that debt. And I feel like it ends up being tax payers. Down the line. Credit cards just shouldn’t be a thing. Or they are but you only can charge one month worth. Then once u pay THAT u can spend more but not a minute before.
This is interesting. Dave let her tell the whole story. That doesn't happen often.
Trying to live the "American Dream" is really Bull? , isn't it??????
And the Darwin award goes too…….
Credit card is not free money! Only use it if you have money in the bank to pay for your purchase. It’s common sense ????
This woman is the first person to have a full blown conversation with Dave on air. 10 minutes yall ?
