I guess I’m one of those weirdos who actually enjoys the first book in the trilogy. I do like this one slightly better than the first one. I read that the author Chuck Wendig Had about as much information at his disposal when he started this trilogy as everyone else did before they saw the force awakens so he kind of wrote the first one as if trading new ground and the second two were kind of more tied together than the first one.
Did anyone else ship Jas and Sinjir? Like, I know she has her own thing and SInjir says he isn't interested in girls… But come on, they totally had so much chemistry! I shipped them so hard in this book and the next. Their claims they weren't interested in each other just seemed like denial to me.
Is there Ben Solo tea?! You know I need to know that lol.
Great review, pretty much agree with everything. I didn't read it per se but did get it as a free audible book and thought it was a modest improvement. Just glad Han and Chewie came back. Love your content btw
