BAKU – The US budget deficit for the fiscal year 2018 hit 779 billion USD, which is 17 percent more than the year before. Much of the increase is pegged to Trump’s recent legislations. Moreover, the Congressional Budget Office expects the federal deficit to eclipse 1 trillion USD in 2020, which would generate about 9,5 trillion USD in debt over the coming decade. Yet, as substantial as this sounds, the United States is neither at risk of default nor can it continue to spend with impunity.

BAKU – America’s national debt is the largest binding obligation of the federal government. At an outstanding sum of 21,4 trillion USD, it’s also the largest sovereign debt in the world and greater than what the country produces in a whole year. No single event facilitated this amount, and even though debt has been a part of American history since its foundation, nearly the entire net sum was only accumulated in the last three decades.

Saving her can land him in a hangman’s noose at low tide in Charles Town Harbor. Repaying her debt to him will consign her to a life worse than death.

When confronted with a forced marriage, Travay Allston flees her stepfather’s Jamaica plantation and dives into the sea. Death would be preferable to life with Sir Roger Poole, a drinking, gambling, scoundrel whose advances make her skin crawl.

Lucas sails the high seas as the dreaded Captain Bloodstone. He is on a quest to find his mother, a woman last seen clapped in irons by the Spanish. As his ship slips past Jamaica, he spies a young woman plunge into the sea. A prize of such beauty must be saved and Lucas dives in to rescue her. The last thing Lucas needs is to get involved with Travay, a childhood friend who caused him nothing but trouble. Especially now that she’s become a stubborn, alluring young woman.

Lucas delivers Travay to her aunt in Charles Town and washes his hands of the affair. Or so he thinks. But when Sir Roger shows up demanding that Travay marry him or face the wrath of Charles Town’s newest council member, Lucas feels that familiar boyhood tug on his heart. Will this wanted pirate of the crown risk his life to save Travay a second time? Betrothed to a man she hates, will Travay repay her debt to a pirate by marrying Sir Roger in exchange for his promise to pardon Lucas? And if she does, will such a rascal keep his word? Falling in love with the pirate was never part of her plan …

In reality, your money problems may not be money problems at all. As Dr. Bernard E. Poduska points out in Till Debt Do Us Part, most financial problems are actually behavior problems. If you can identify the behavior problems – and the emotions behind the behavior – you will be well on your way to solving your financial woes. Unlike books that emphasize balance sheets and budgets, Till Debt Do Us Part explains the interaction among finances, feelings, and family relationships. Only by examining that interaction can family members establish a successful financial management program.
