How much student loan debt do you have?

@drfeelgordo says:

Some of this is on these people. When I was in my undergrad, I was in the same program with another person. We were the same age and she had $80k in debt, i had maybe $10k. She was maxing out everything she could get from her student loans, whereas I was only taking enough to cover tuition. I was working full time which was nights and weekends to pay for books and living expenses and lived in an apartment with my gf near campus. I didn't have car payments or any other bullshit. I was reluctant to take debt, but the financial aid office tried to get me to take the max, which would have been $10k a semester. I would have left school with $40k in debt for an undergrad instead of around $15k.

24:33 i completely understand her. People are paying more but thousands is still a lot. Im getting my BSN now and im glad i did not do the whole degree at a university because it would have been significantly more. I'm in an online program 3 classes 3 units each (9 total). Have no other affiliations or reasons to pay more yet I'm paying 8000. That makes no sense imo. In a summer semester i had to pay almost 4k out of pocket and i had like 1 month to come up with the money. Almost took out a loan, but eventually forcefully fished it out. Good thing I work as a nurse now so its easier than having no degree and working a small scale job while at college. You really can't fault the girl for not wanting to pay that. These 8000/semester schools are one of the cheapest options (but still mighty expensive) when community college is not an option for the degree. I also just found out that scholarships are not available to senior students at my uni. Crazy work!

So glad I dont live in the US

@Mr_NB628 says:

5:20 the people that say I just check on them, but I don’t pay them or I’m never gonna pay another cent or why people don’t want them to be forgiven.

@PorscheSC says:

Just be thankful you’re not living in the Carter presidency. My mortgage rate was somewhere between 14 to 17%. If mortgage rates were that high imagine what other interest rates were like! So, your financial stupidity doesn’t move me to tears. I’m sorry about that. Best spend your time learning about finance and not about the latest phone or Starbucks drink.

@Trustbutverify2651 says:

Virtually every high school in the US has a personal finance class (and has for decades), but it is an elective and students do not choose that class. It is in the "business classes" section which students planning to go to college generally do not look at to choose their courses. My state now mandates that every student take the personal finance/economics class as a graduation requirement AND students have to pass the test which is prepared by a third party. Does it change where they choose to go to college and how many loans they take on? NO! Because students still want what they want and 17 and 18 year old still make dumb decisions.

Dude is so proud to destroy his credit rating for $21

@etfbit says:

I'd like to DEFEND "real-estate" wannabe girl…. She's almost taken the red pill and she should pursue what she would be good at – staying home with a bunch of kids and caring for a guy who can go out and slay for her. Period. With her looks she could achieve something MOST "educated" women really want but can't get. Just do it honey.

@ElliotMann-v4l says:

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's women putting makeup while doing TikTok videos. So irritating to watch.

@rosenquartsdraws4805 says:

I might be from a different country, but my student loans are directly paid from my wages. It took 9 years to pay a 40k loan

@homeacres9454 says:

Modern western women are mostly bankrupt ????

@DaN3xtSlimShady says:
