Does this work for charged off debt?

@sharondewonsmithable says:

I did a balance transfer yes I end up paying a small fee, but I was paying more in the interest each month the best decision ever!

Wouldnt opening up new CC with 0% intro apr + balance transfer be better?

I would love to know your views on Balance transfers vs personal loans. I have one more Moby Dick credit card left to pay . I just turned 50 and got it in college, it's like the ghost face killer from the Scream movie franchise it will not die.????

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but l'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

I think Sofi only works for a high credit score, yet if high utilization you may need a different companies that will grant the loan–any other recs you know of could do it

I’m currently paying off a consolidation loan. I racked up $12k in debt across 4 credit card after I had my son and was home with him for 12 weeks. At that time I was paying close to $400 in just minimums. I was drowning just to pay the minimum and barely paying anything down.

About a year ago I took out a consolidation loan after I went back to work and the balance is just under $8k now. I’ve also managed to not spend more on my cards while paying my loan off. If I can keep this up I’ll be less than $200 in debt once this is paid off. I’m so excited to become debt free!

@Neon00000 says:

Is this only for credit card debt or all personal debts?

@adrianadias9791 says:

Hi Vivian I am having a question can I still apply for a personal loan having a home equity?Thanks

@tommontreal4821 says:

Getting into debt for stupid purchases is what happens when people are financially illiterate.
