I grew up watching Congress on CSPAN sleeping in hearings or playing solitaire instead of listening. They showed it on TV as proof. I have zero empathy for Congress.

Thank you president-elect Trump & (R) for ensuring Jeffries, (D) & president soros, failed in their bid to shut down government.

It’s the same BS as always! Wait till the last minute, then add a bunch of stuff taxpayers don’t want or need. Pass a BS package in the nick of time then act like they’re heroes for doing their job! In reality they come up with a BS package wasting taxpayer money on frivolous crap, then send the remainder out to get laundered and sent back to themselves.

I can't help but laugh at the republican party. For all their whining about spending it turns out that they're the biggest spenders ever. They just choose to give our tax dollars away to the wealthy rather than the needy.

@JonathonShell77 says:

Looking at what got stripped from the bill Democrats shouldn't have voted for it.

@ezekielswiss4347 says:

Why when its money for americans in trouble because of a hurricane it takes forever and its a huge deal. Yet when money gets sent to ukraine or the rain forest it seems to happen with no issues. Billion for the rain forest? Does biden not know its been known for ever now its the algae in the ocean and not the rain forest that needs saving?

@bobslydell806 says:

Bullshit. Anyone voting to keep it open for the sake of NOT shutting down WILL be voted out. The voters have been clear: SHUT IT DOWN

@JDog_Unchained says:
