Do you know someone who has credit card debt?
wtf is wrong with these people
2:41
Sadly you are correct. So many boomers had the easy life but then allowed politicians to get corrupted by the rich to put on horrible policies, and people like this kept spending like things never changed to a point where they need a reverse mortgage because they refuse to change. More proof how millennials are the first generation to be worse off than their parents.
It's mostly women who engage in this kind of irresponsible behavior with no accountability. Watching this video just makes me even more glad that I am single and will never get married or seriously involved with a woman again.
I got into debt when I was depressed and basically planning to kill myself, I survived obs but I have ignored that side ever since ???? too much ????
The relief I feel every month knowing I have no cc debt
She filed bankruptcy over $20,000 in debt. That's nuts. Now she won't be able to get a home loan and will rent forever. If she needs a car loan, she's going to have a 29% interest rate. She's never going to own anything again. Her parents telling her to file bankruptcy is just wild. You will be forever poor now. Good parenting.
I worked for Best Buy years ago and got their cc 22:28. It help me get a washer and dryer paid it off over a couple years interest free. You need to have self control and hold yourself accountable.
How are these people getting these credit cards?? In 2019, back during ZIRP, my application was denied for a capital one SECURED CARD
(edit for info: the credit limit I applied for was around 400$).
Maybe pay because it’s morally right, bi#$&.
Even Spider-Man is broke.
My husband and I are in approximately 11k in debt. We're in our late 20s. Times have been tough and we used our credit card more than we should have.
When I opened the account, it was because I wanted to build credit, as I didn't have a car payment or anything at the time. I got a secured card with a $200 limit. "Only for gas," I said. When you prove that you're responsible enough to pay your debt, they increase your credit limit. I called them at one point to ask them to STOP upping my credit limit. I didn't want to have access to so much money that WASN'T MINE. The interest eats you alive. We can't even get ahead of the payments now.
It's so frustrating. It looms over my head every day.
THIS is why I'm glad my high school offered a financial literacy class as a math credit.
22:43 not Walgreens. I didn't even know that they had a credit card I used to work for them and I never ever was forced to sell any credit cards or anything. I didn't even know they had them
22:13 always always always look at the interest rate if it's like above like 25 especially if it's above the 30s, don't get it
The building of the pool is just the beginning of the cost. The monthly power cost to run the pumps is insane as well.
I’m debt free except for the mortgage. My score jumped from 760 to 821. I have 30k in emergency/ fuck you money. I have 70k in savings and 450k in retirement. Just chilling in this economy and that’s a FLEX ????????????
I am 26 nearing turning 27 this year and I am so glad that I was raised with some sense of money and its value. I grew up very poor as a kid and credit cards were always around in my family, but really only to cover emergency expenses like covering gas for the next couple days until pay day or to buy dinner until the next pay check came. It was instilled in me that CCs were not "free money" but rather expensive money as not only did you have to pay back the amount you owed, but you also had to pay MORE on top in the form of interest.
To this day, I only have one credit card and I use it simply to keep a credit history. I keep a small balance on the card each month to build my credit history but would never imagine using them to rack up tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, especially because their interest rates are insane at 30%+! I don't know what some people are thinking just impulse buying things on a card they shouldn't and then sinking themselves into permanent debt with minimum monthly payments.
In Canada you could be sued but it is much more likely you'll get forced into bankruptcy. Get in touch with your credit card company before the debt is given to a collection company. Your credit card company will work with you on ways to pay them back.
They’re all predatory loans. We just have to become the new predators. This system is not going to die unless we kill it.
Having no debt is like being rich. After i saw that my late mother accumulated 14k in credit card debt, i refused to go down that road. Having a credit card is a useful tool that should never be exploited.
I'M 61 AND NEVER HAD A CREDIT CARD THAT IS WHY I'M HAPPY ????I DON'T OWE ANYBODY ANYTHING ?SO YOU CAN JUST LEAVE THIS BALD HEAD COUNTRY BOY ALONE ???? MOST OF THESE PEOPLE ON THIS VIDEO ARE JUST PLAIN STUPID ????
I paid off my credit card end of March and my student loans will be paid off by December, just in time for my 29th birthday. I’m turning this ???? around and i’m not going back.
We have friends who started a pool demo business. They are booked a year out. As a pool owner, I can confidently say that it’s a hole in your yard you throw money into. We get to use ours basically end of may- early Sept. it might be worth it somewhere you can use it year round, but the work & money we put in opening, closing, maintaining, & heating it for 3 months isn’t worth it.
Her finger yo ! ????
I really do worry about America's future. Thank gosh I'm 70.
