Liens because of debt because of illness should be illegal in every state. Disease and accidents or not self inflicted failures to pay.

Only in USA can you lose every thing you worked for simply for needing medical care.
And only in USA do people pay more for medical care.

These hospitals especially privately run have no scruples and the Nursing Homes are the even worse !!! There need to be a series of stories on how many homes are going to be taken from the elderly and their families. The figures will be astounding !!! ????????????

Wow. Good for him. That’s awesome. Be nice to see this done regularly, even if random or under certain circumstances. It’d be a good start. This story was nice to hear. And I get it, I’ve had, and starting to again, my own medical bill situations. So I can sympathize, and why I think it’s nice to hear the financial powers that be here doing something pretty positive after punishing a sad long time patient and caretaker.

He could start paying off his bills by selling his household items in that China cabinet behind him. Holding on to materialistic wealth, while sloughing off medical expenses that prolonged or saved your life to others is a crime in and amongst itself.

Isn’t Obamacare great!!!
