@TaraHoyt-m6q says:

They stolen our tax payer money! Now they throw people into poverty because of COVID they screwed us about these loan’s! They are just screwing up again! What about a payment plan? Don’t steal anymore of our money!

@u.s.president48th83 says:

Makes no damn scene at all to pay back student loan debt when all the paper college degree's an university paper degree's will totally be USELESS an OBSOLETE in the future of society job market an very new vision of the new American workforce going forward in society in United States ok
FACTS

No Donald J Trump in the white House oval office as President of United States can't truly get rid of all student loan debt at all that power is truly in the hands of United States Congress to do so or leave the broken system the way it truly is broken ok

@mrc5425 says:

How many irresponsible unappreciative student loan borrowers took all that free Covid money and went on a spending spree instead of paying off their loan?

These loan defaults stay on your credit report for LIFE.

@Yetiman152 says:

I think there should be grace for people who are chronically/terminally ill or facing extreme financial hardship (homeless, can’t eat, etc) Aside from those circumstances, people need to start paying

@Dakinigem says:

Trump filed bankruptcy several times. Your debt you pay it right? Gross. Thought so.

@nailhobson4996 says:

Im so tired of older people not wanting to see the new generation get a break on their loans. You all went to school 10 to 30 years ago. Just like laws change and things evolve. There is nothing wrong with lower tuition and forgiveness. Stop being so envious and hateful of others. You were born, then they were born in this new generation and things change. Damn give your kids kids a break. Its sad just because some people were able to pay off their loa s 20 years ago you dont want to see someone else get a break. Its sad

@x9v8k says:

So many boot lickers in these comments it’s pretty pathetic. Education should be free/affordable. Not cruel and financially crippling.

@SirLoin2407 says:

Donald Trump currently owes approximately $91 million in total for the defamation lawsuits brought by E. Jean Carroll. This includes about $5.3 million from the first trial and $85.3 million from the second trial, with both amounts reflecting accrued interest as of September 2024 who is making sure he repays this?

@JayTee2985 says:

The irony of a guy who never paid his debts and filed for 6 bankruptcy suddenly wants people to pay of their debts.

@994pt4 says:

Only now we are holding people accountable for their choices?

No wonder the sense of entitlement is off the charts the last few years! ????

@metoo3821 says:

Made a payment, the next month the principle PLUS INTEREST was higher than the previous months ending balance. Its the high interest rates that make it so difficult to pay the money back.

@adriankoh4859 says:

Wait no one paid their loans? Why wasn't I told! U mean I could have used that money for = wasted on luxurious foods, games and tech, and spent time with my money sucking friends?!
You mean I could've just pretend not to pay like everyone else? ????

@User-s9h2o0tx says:

Hey I have no issues paying for my student loans.. but I want to be able to deduct my student loan interest payments in its entirety from my taxable income. A limit of $2500 deduction for that (and no deduction at all for high income earners) is ludicrous.

@sinistersilverado965 says:

stop loaning money for education

@Graham-e6c says:

As a teenager, my mother told me with a college degree ill be the head janitor instead of the assistant janitor, in a dismissive "Thats all you're good for" tone of voice. I stopped talking to that skank a decade+ ago bcuz of stuff like that from her.

@RuleofFive says:

Wall Street received $16 Trillion dollars following the financial collapse of 2008. They didn't pay back a dime of it. It was given to them. Surely we can help students too.

@handbananaistherapist642 says:

You got that degree, right? Put it to use! Oh, did the school lie to you? If so, sue the school! Till then, be sure to put a stamp on the payment envelope . . . the USPS is not free either!

@T123gn says:

Get that money, folks. It's free. People have been pimping those student loans for years.

@JulianNLF says:

College is a scam

@bcuriel2010 says:
