I have a very fluid amount of debt. My cards are rarely at zero, but they're always pretty close to zero. I never pay interest charges.

I’m so sick and tired of the “why didn’t they teach us this in school” comments. First of all they do. Student loans are not a new thing everyone in the world knows about them. Secondly even if they did have a class dedicated to it in school yall wouldn’t pay attention. All of this is easily findable information. I know you’ve heard about this before.
Being financially and morally bankrupt is not cute.
It’s all about being materialistic and keeping up with trends. Nobody is forcing them to take a credit card out. There is also a whole lot of entitlement involved.

I saw what Synchrony was doing from a mile out. Paid the whole, $1,000 off in one shot. Closed the account, told them to fuck off and lost 2 points of my credit score.
