Maybe the best so far I loved this book. A little different than some of the previous ones. Savannah’s mother is an integral part of the story and shows a different side than we usually see. I love the addition of Pearl to the mix. Rafe is called by Sheriff Satterfield to help in the investigation of 7 murders. Savannah who is 7months pregnant is right by his side. The plot has many twists and turns and the conclusion is surprising. The other plot which is going on is whether Yvonne will be able to inherit Beulah…
