It’s not isekai or an anime playing by traditional rules but rather a man fit for the throne who doesn’t want it and no matter how hard he tries to fail he always wins! A surprise smash hit I say.

I've been eager to jump into this series for over a year and I have to say source readers were right to hype this one up!
this really is the better version of Realist Hero in every way possible and probably my favorite new anime from this season
This anime reminds me of the phrase, "Suffering from Success", taken to an absurd degree! Not to mention that the main character's misfortune somewhat reminds me of Ciaphas Cain of the Warhammer 40k fame, too….!
I'm loving every second of it! xD
just knowing how brave and intelligent is the Prince leader, make you feel so proud as soldier and only result of an higher sense of loyalty
I kind of like how effeminate he emotes.
I don't know how lazy or sloppy Prince Wein is trying to be, but he can call out individual soldiers in his army (10,000 strong for the kingdom) by name and casually establish a rapport with them. That is one of the prized quality of a leader of men. All the Great Captains like Alexander, Caesar, and Napoleon have them, this ability to inspire loyalty from his troops.
What an unexpected surprise! I was expecting this to be like How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom but totally surprised! The irony and sarcasm is ridiculous.
It's an underrated show, but I can't stop laughing midway at the idiocy of this prince who's mistakened as intelligent by his royal advisors ????. Even if not many people are watching it, I'd watch this show even for just over-the-top comedy that it will constantly show in the anime. I don't like the CGI though, but I can overlook that because the comedic storyline compensates for it.
his generals/military aides are nothing but great vibes and positivity. I love them and that was suuuper rare for that character type
So basically he's in hell lol
I feel like "task failed successfully" will be a major theme throughout this anime. The dynamic between the prince and Ninym is quite quirky, but funny.
I'm glad you review this series. Thank you
This was a real surprise. I thought this was a touch and go anime but now i finished the manga and is reading the ln after just one episode. Really fun stuff
This was a hilarious episode. Didnt expect it to be this funny.
A fantasy anime with no magic, how rare.
This is one of those shows that sold me from the premise alone and I’m glad to see that Wednesdays this season are going to have a couple of high quality shows
Ironic humor is the heart of this show and its doing it really well so far
Getting some failing upwards Blackadder vibes lol
Lol he’s a genius and has good analytical skills and thinks too hard at times. That was a brutal killing. The voice actor was the best choice for the prince lol
