I applied for this consolidation loan and got denied, I’ve been a customer with them for over 8 months, I have a flagship card with them for 11K which is almost maxed out, I got denied even tho my payment history is 100% on time, no derogatory or negative marks on my credit profile at all, I even did the pledge loan and have put as much money as I can on my checking account with these guys since day one, as expected I got denied, because my credit utilization was too high lol which is the response I get from every single bank I’ve tried to get a debt consolidation loan from, why the F** would I apply for a type of loan like this if my utilization isn’t high ?? Literally banks don’t make sense, that’s why it’s called a consolidation loan, because I have a freaking debt that needs to paid off, I just wanted 1 single payment every month instead of being worried of 10 different credit cards payment that I have which I’ve always paid on time.. this doesn’t make any sense
So my question is will this work with collection debt I had went through a credit repair agency at the beginning of last year and it got my collections of 2,800 off my my credit only to get a call towards December Bing bought by some other collection agency so should I go through a credit repair agency again or just try to pay the debt off through debt consolidation through Navy Fed because when I looked at my experience out I saw it today and I was heated

But I thought a debt consolidation loan was not good to do because institutions usually denied you?
Got a personal loan with NFCU last year for 5k and paid if off and this in January got second 15k asked and approved; NFCU pulled my TransUnion again. NFCU is awesome!! Cherish that relationship
