who pays $21k for a hyundai accent? i mean the accent is decent for its class but why pay $21k for a subcompact sedan

Hello, I'm the caller, Casey. So I got the car, the Hyundai Accent about a year ago, and the reason I got it is because the car I had before it, which was a 2012 Ford Fusion, the power steering had gone out on it. And it was going to cost me about 3k$ to fix it. I didn't have the money, I had no money saved at the time. So I started car shopping and found the Hyundai Accent. It initially cost about 21k, and now it's down to about 19k. I don't have a house, I rent an apartment for about 535 a month. I owe around 60k in student loan debt that is currently on hold to pay on till September.
As soon as he said "Hyundai" i knew this guy was a sucker.
Sell the car or continue to live with your parents rent free until your debt is paid.
Sell everything. Get rid of errthing and get a bike.
Not trying to rag on the guy, but buying new Hyundai's like that is super dumb- it's not even a good car!

I would hold off on selling the vehicle due to the inflated used car prices because anything you find under $5,000usd is going to be a high-risk buy regardless of where you buy it in the U.S. KC

I'm 30 and debt free. I learned about how the monetary system works long ago and many other things as well that they don't teach you in doctrination camps
Anthony jumped on it but he’s wrong…remember a car not worth more than half your annual income.
The bad part is that expenses at that age just makes it even worse. Imagine getting a house, insuring that; getting a car, insuring that; food, utilities, etc.
You just are not going to have time to pay off any other expenses.

What I don’t understand is when they say sell the car, your going to lose money and then you still have to buy another car.
