The Ramsey Show - Highlights says:

Say goodbye to debt forever. Start Ramsey+ for free: https://bit.ly/3g11A2V

Zqueen says:

I will NOT pay any man’s loans. Be a man and pay off your stuff

john mirbach says:

??????

Cosmic Coffee says:

2:10 I laughed way too hard at that part.

I think the guy you're talking to there Dave is the "she" in that relationship.

B Strong49 says:

I believe if you have any debt before marriage that’s your debt you need to pay it off.

Michael Van says:

He’s getting married to “he”. Dave didn’t catch that to the end.

Elizabeth Page says:

My first reaction to the headline was "What?????" I wouldn't marry someone who thinks like that. Ever.

ahdfakjh ajfdandkj says:

Yes. Let her pay it off then roll out!

The Truth says:

They in 110k debt they can do it

Mug_Tea_Coffee says:

If a woman called in saying this, some of you men would be on here saying "RuN ShE Is AfTeR YoU For YouR MonEy" but for some reason now the roles are reversed I don't see those snarky comments.

john Smith says:

AGAIN, I DISAGREE WITH DAVE… OK, Dave keeps on saying, it don't matter which debt you paid first.. or that you should go by size of debt, I disagree. I believe you ALWAYS pay off the debt with the highest interest payment and not based on the size of the debt. Dave always says a few hundred will not make your or break you… but I have penny pinched all my life and it adds up. For someone that does not have much, penny pinching can really add up and can actually become a game changer. I do understand that it feels like you accomplished something when you pay off your debt… but that is not a reason to me as to why you should pay off the lowest debt first.

Mr Brightside says:

All that debt and they want to have some pricey wedding. What a chump. She’s probably a heffer, because desirable chicks don’t marry losers.
This guy makes 65k supposedly and has some “personal” loan from a friend for 15k? The guys obviously terrible with money.

Nirvana says:

Absolutely not. Don't let them simp. Get a prenup and pay off your debt like a responsible adult.

Cherokee Fit says:

Total Simp and the answer should be NO. Anybody that does that will be the biggest sucker in no time flat.

Mitha & Chan says:

Sell the fiancée

Leah613 says:

Prenup? To keep Debt separated and accounts joint? Payment of debt together… But if something happens like super unexpected at the end neither party is responsible for each other Debt?

Clutch First NY says:

This guy is simpin' hard! If you really want to start your marriage with a clean slate, pay off your debt and have her pay her own. Then you two can start fresh. Her debt is not your responsibility, especially with the marriage odds. That is not a smart gamble.

Anna Witte says:

So he owes someone money but thinks has money for a wedding!!

Jamie Conrad says:

I earned my education benefits through the military and it still gives me a full body shiver hearing what people owe for college. It was well worth four years of my young adulthood. I was the band and musical theater geek in high school so if I can do it anyone can.

Douglas Brinkman says:

Starting married life in debt is stupid.

Cherry_Waves976 says:

I might be the only one that feels this way, but I believe that if someone doesn’t know how to get their finances straightened out before marriage, it’s only going to carry on throughout the marriage and create problems in the future. I think if we are going to marry another person, they should already be in their journey to being debt free, and marriage should be the finish line

Heidi's Here & There says:

Courthouse wedding with the immediate family. Take them all out for a quaint dinner afterwards.
No sense making more debt with frivolity when you're already in debt up to your ears! ? Besides, it's what happens AFTER the vows are exchanged that matters; not the ceremony!
(But, what do I know? I've only been married 29 years, and that was a courthouse wedding ?)

Joe Plem says:

Baffles me that guys are still dumb enough to get married in today's dating climate.

Lanemp8 says:

I’m guessing they said no. Get married first. Let’s see.

Betty Smith says:

Dude get yourself a second job and pay your own loans!

Jim Pettengill says:

this dude needs to run fast

Matt Johnson says:

Ugh what a simp

K Roddy says:

Simpin ain't easy. Poor guy he's gonna go for a ride. Flip a coin and the marriage is over, crazy gambling odds. Amazing how Dave still promotes marriage without a prenup, it's just terrible financial advice.

TheSunshinefee says:

her debt is hers.
