The key for me is not cancelling the debt for those with outrageous tuition loans. It's that the entities that jacked up tuition and the lending intuitions that enjoyed the steady flow of revenue from those unreasonable loans and interest aren't held to account as yet again Americans foot the bill for greed and extortive behavior.

Shocker. Dems lying to gain votes and just targeting the morons who will actually believe them. Why should the government ever intervene in student loan debt when it was the choice of the student to take it on in the first place.
I have to hand it to her…I think sheet hit on about 10 political cliche's in less than 2 minutes. Perhaps she should realized why student loans became such a problem in the first place. As soon as the govt decided to stick their nose into student loans, tuitions skyrocketed which ultimately saddled young people with huge loan bills….another instance where govt action hurt more than it helped.
Congress gave limited authority to the Secretary of Education to pause or modify debt for those in the military or otherwise involved in war against terrorism. Congress did not intend on the authority being used for a nationwide pause or cancellation. Trump abused the power and now Biden wants to drive a truck through the hole.
