Means whenever you want you can take out your money but fd money is locked for particular period so debt funds are better than fd if you need urgent money.

The Funda of this government is simple… DON'T Invest just spend all money in india… don't visit abroad or invest outside(20%tcs). The LTCG tax on Debt funds was 20% after applying indexation, if the amendment has just removed the indexation then the LTCG tax on debt funds should 20% without the indexation benefit. Why are we taking about LTCG tax being at marginal tax rate?
