Will doing this erase the debt in its entirety or could the debt collector or original crediter than seek a judgement for it? I need to remove a false rental debt and they lied put $8000 debt on my credit and I cant get a new place until it is off my credit. Now I emailed the regional manager and day before thanksgiving she said she will sent request to debt collected to make it $3786 as she has no proof to charge more eventhough she has no proof of that amount either. I believe the fair credit law says if its false information it shouldnt be on my report so it should also remove the debt right?

Not all collection agencies BUY damn Siri) debts. Many agencies work for the state and they will get the money you owe. I should know: they took it straight out of my bank account. It was for a municipal ticket and then my bank charged me an extra hundred dollars on top of the $1000 ticket, it all sucks. i’m thinking they did it this way because I do not have an employer. I am the employer and they don’t know or didn’t know that I work for myself and that’s why I think they went that route and took that out of my bank account before Court was even done with. Half Greenfield Wisconsin police. and half Waukesha Wisconsin police department those two I have bones to pick with big time and I will continue to sell mask to both of these cities until I am feeling that I’ve made enough money from what you made me lose through no fault of my own

I it legal for a debt collector to take you to court when they took the same debt owed and sold it to another company now the other asking for the same money saying is on behalf of the first debt collector and my court date is coming up soon
Look, if they’re giving you advice on how to deal with a debt collector; they’re not someone you want advice from. – one of many black men. If they’re giving you advice on something you don’t want to deal with 1) don’t make the mistake in the first place (if a small part of you disagrees don’t do it, also just wait until you’re not arguing with yourself to make decisions and save it.) 2) if they’re showing you shortcuts, it means it’s happened more than once, and habits don’tdont nearly gaf about willpower, it requires constant training.

It was the attorney that sent the collections, then when I tried to dispute it , they sent me a garnishment for court
