I just did my first official Zoom mediation

Thanks! Share it with your friends!

We had our first Zoom mediation the other day, and we wanted to share our experience with anyone who may be considering these types of meetings in their case.

Overall, mediation over Zoom went well.

We’re still in the early days of this, so there are some things that we would do differently/better in the future.

We recommend that you use Zoom on your computer, and that you have a back up device for Zoom whether it’s a phone, iPad, tablet, etc.

This is looking like the “new normal” for cases whether we like it or not, but there are some great pros that make this transition easier. Can share documents. Much better than a phone mediation (those often occur in appealed cases).

Thanks for watching!

Hey john I missed my phone call because I have a block from private calls. Judge said he would call back but never did. today I received a letter that says we hereby withdraw or motion for summary judgment. What does that mean?

Who pays for Mediation? Or is it part of that original "filing fee", paid by plaintiff, for small claims court?

I have a certified letter at the post office I have to go pick up today, Hoping it's my 8k return funds check but it went to my wrong address, doesn't have my correct name, and from sender Baldwin county, Alabama. I don't think it's my check I'm expecting so I started looking for scams from Certified mail and came across your get sued videos and you got me all worried someone done stole my ID and someone is trying to sue me. You put out good info keep it up. I was wondering how I was going to Alabama from SC to go to court to fight it, then you have this zoom video, Would the court do something like this or is this just for mediation?
