Hello my sister i think I'm in the same situation because i owed shops and i lost my job, and i notified the few years later I've got a call from NDC saying i must pay, so what should i do?
I went through debt review for about 4 and a half years and came out smelling sweeter at the other end, difficult journey but well worth it for me. All the pointers she mentioned I experienced, process, I mean everything ????. Advice would be to let the debt counsellor know of challenges upfront, especially when you can't make the specific month's payment and restructure the recovery. Funerals, unexpected expenses etc. The behaviour I adopted during the process especially not taking up unnecessary debt has stayed with me. Credit score improved, managed to get 100% bond approval on my second loan and paying on time everytime without breaking my bank????

Protect this woman, she is so wise?. Money conversations are so important and credit is not a prize. It should not be encouraged. Except for a house and other good debt like education. If you can’t buy it cash, you cannot afford it.
