I am debt free including home. It’s the greatest feeling. It’s a huge weight lifted. Some people say oh well you have taxes and upkeep. Yes absolutely true but not on top of a mortgage payment!! You just sleep better knowing you don’t owe anything to anyone. It’s hard to put in words.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This video was especially helpful and compassionate, thank you for sharing your tossing and turning in bed, worrying about bills. I, as a widow, felt so alone in this because my family NEVER TALKED CALMLY about money. Money for us was always a source of stress, and when stressed we would shop to feel better. We saved very little. But what stuck with me is you said THE PAST IS THE PAST and we must learn from it and CHANGE OUR MINDSETS, AGAIN, YOU ARE A BLESSING!!!

Kitty Krueger says:

Why does everyone equate being frugal and debt free to minimalism? Having less does not lift any burdens for me. Prepping and stockpiling necessities when on sale- before emergencies gives me peace of mind. I'm paying yesterday's prices for tomorrow's goods. Also, prioritizing secured debt over unsecured debt helps. Working on my mortgage before my credit cards. If the economy fails and I miss a credit card payment, nothing happens. If the economy fails and I miss a mortgage payment, I loose my house. I really wish there were frugal channels for preppers. Havent found one yet though.
