Third Book in the NYT Bestselling Series. “I tried to play a game. I tried to wield deceit as perfectly as the Hawks. But when I thought I was winning, I wasn’t. Jethro isn’t what he seems—he’s the master of duplicity. However, I refuse to let him annihilate me further.” Nila Weaver has grown from naïve seamstress to full-blown fighter. Every humdrum object is her arsenal, and sex…sex is her greatest weapon of all. She’s paid the First Debt. She’ll probably pay more. But she has no intention of letting the Hawks win. Jethro Hawk has found more than a worthy adversary in Nila—he’s found the woman who could destroy him. There’s a fine line between hatred and love, and an even finer path between fear and respect. The fate of his house rests on his shoulders, but no matter how much ice lives inside his heart, Nila flames too bright to be extinguished.

Urban Fantasy with a Cyberpunk Twist
***Second Season of Debt Collector***
Recommended: start with Season One.

What’s your life worth on the open market?
In this gritty urban fantasy, debt collectors take your life energy and give it to someone more “worthy”… all while paying the price with black marks on their souls.

“Wraith is amazing and just as compelling as Lirium–once again I’m hooked!!”

Wraith is a shadow in the night, haunting the bedrooms of the rich “high potentials” who have stolen life energy from the desperate and dying. The justice and the sweet mercy hit that follow keep her from falling into her own personal abyss. Her secret nighttime work also keeps her on level for her real mission: carrying on her father’s legacy of attempting to bring an end to debt collection as a whole. But when a mysterious debt collector interrupts her in the act and discovers her secret, everything Wraith loves may be destroyed by the one thing she can never fix– the original sin of being a debt collector herself.

Being the first born daughter, her life is forfeit to the first born son of the Hawks to pay for sins of ancestors past. The dark ages might have come and gone, but debts never leave. She has no choice in the matter.  She is no longer free. Jethro Hawk receives Nila as an inheritance present on his twenty-ninth birthday. Named for her late father’s most prized possession, Aston McNeil shares a deep connection with the classic car she inherited upon his recent death. When she learns her reckless stepbrother lost the car as collateral to Houston’s most feared loan shark, she fights the urge to throttle him and vows to do whatever it takes to get it back.

Mechanic and mob enforcer Ben Beciraj can’t believe his eyes when Houston socialite Aston McNeil storms into his chop shop and demands the return of the car he’s just repossessed. He counters with a deal he never expects the fiery blonde heiress to accept–one week at his beck and call for the keys to her late father’s favorite toy.

But Ben’s plans to have a little fun with a girl way out of his league are shot to hell after one taste of sweet, beguiling Aston. When her stepbrother’s shady dealings are revealed, Ben will do anything to protect her from the seedy underworld he inhabits–even if it means crossing the only family he’s ever known.

You can use these letters as they are, modify them to suit your needs or your business or just use one sentence from a letter. Each letter should be on your company letterhead and include your company name, address, phone and fax, web address, email and any other contact information. The letters that get the best results are not “form” letters. If a letter looks like a form letter it loses some of its punch. The most effective letters are short, to the point and easy to read. Try to avoid long or confusing words and sentences. The more direct, the fewer misunderstandings. Have someone read your letter and see if they totally understand it. If they do, then chances are your debtor will, too. Your letter is a reflection of your business; keep it professional. Remember that your letter is to persuade someone to send you money. Your wording and tone are critical, especially if this is a customer you want to continue to do business with. Always assume the debtor will pay. Enclosing an envelope for payment is always a good idea. You can also include an envelope with postage. The easier you make it for the debtor to make payment, the better your chances are of receiving that payment. Collection letters should do two things: retain customer good will and help you get paid. You know a letter works well when you do a mailing and your phone rings off the hook when everyone receives their letters. If you send out a letter and there is no response, you need to re-work your letter.
